Fundraising as part of team: Miles for Miles

My Story

At 2 weeks old, my son Miles was unexpectedly diagnosed with Dilated Cardiomyopathy and heart failure after a night of poor feeding and drowsiness led us to take him to the doctors. We were blue lighted to Great Ormond Street Hospital that night, who have overseen Miles' complex care ever since.

Whilst not much can ease the journey we have been on as a family trying to adjust to and manage Miles' condition, EACH have been a huge support during some of the toughest times we have faced.

On 10th June, I will be attempting a 32 Mile/52km walk from Cromer Pier to Great Yarmouth in under 11 hours, in aid of East Anglia's Children's Hospices. EACH cares for children and young people with life-threatening conditions across Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk and Suffolk and support their families.

£200- could pay for a Community Nursing Pack to provide essential equipment to deliver care in family home or elsewhere in the community.
£600- could pay for a Clinical Nurse Specialist for the week to provide expert nursing care to children and young people with life-threatening conditions.
£1,100- could pay for five sessions of Hydrotherapy which can help to relieve pain and relax muscles.

For families accessing care and those who have been bereaved, EACH is a lifeline at an unimaginably difficult time. When time is short, EACH helps families make the most of their precious time together and create memories that last forever. Thank you for supporting EACH by donating to my page.
